With names like Side Breeze and Glidehouse, who could resist a mod, yet retro, prefab that communes with its natural setting? Green architect Michelle Kaufmann creates beauties like this one currently at approx. $140/sf; from one bedrooms to 5-stories. The Glidehouse is on display ’til June 2007 at the National Building Museum in Washington, DC.
