keekaTwins.jpg

Before expressing themselves with Wearable Greetings, Kee-ka’s founders originally created handmade greeting cards. Based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn Kee-ka has grown to become a leading brand of affordable luxury baby gifts. Not only eco-conscious about their clothing manufacturing, but also their packaging — Kee-ka baby goods come in self-sealing, little brown boxes from recycled material that are ready-to-mail.
For pairs, this adorable twin set is 100% certified (super-soft) organic cotton, and machine washable and dryable ($39.00, in sizes from 3-12months). Take a peek at kee-ka.com.

Windham Mountain – Green Power

Windham_1.jpgParts of this picturesque, frozen-in-time, mountain-top town in the Catskills are changing with the times. The new owners of Windham Mountain Ski Resort have embraced green technology by energizing the lodge and new ski lifts with wind power.

And a health-conscious cafe, re-Fresh, recently opened its doors on Main Street, serving up fresh organic juices and food from dawn to dusk. It’s a perfect place to stop for a light snack, wifi check-in, homeopathic ointment for a weekend warrior, or present for your pals if you crash at their cabin in the woods.

Now we have more cool ways to enjoy the white (and green) expanses of Windham.
