KidFresh_1.jpgNow, Trix aren’t the only thing just for kids. When Matt Cohen got fed up with the food available to his children (described as “the white bread, potato chip and juice trifecta”), he founded kidfresh–a grocery and website geared toward the tot lot.

Located on the Upper East side of Manhattan (on Second Avenue at 84th Street), parents and their kids can shop for prepared meals or do-it-yourself organic pastas, cereals and canned foods. Mostly organic, all the food is free of preservatives, artificial flavors and trans fats. The one whipping up the kid-friendly creations is none other than Chef Joe Brancaccio, former sous chef at Agata and Valentino. And, voila! Kids’ lunches transformed.
