When some of those tiny creatures actually become pests, take a safe route to controlling them. Here are a few useful products so you’re not bugged by bugs. Lakon Herbals – Bygone Bugz™ was one of the first herbal insect repellents available in the U.S. and its effective formula features only non-toxic, non-hazardous essential oils of: eucalyptus, rosemary, peppermint, birch, geranium, and GMO-free sunflower oil.
GreenFeet.com offers pest controls for home and garden that are safe for people, pets, and the planet. Humane mouse traps, safe moth traps, sticky ribbons for catching flies…some ingredients are organically-grown. For times when a fly-swatter just won’t do. If you have a favorite solution, please jump-in.

These sound like some great products that I will definitely have to check into. Thanks for the information!
I’m a bit disappointed, I was hoping for how to make your own pest control like chilli sprays to discourage pets from stomping on plants and soapy water for aphids and so on. Anyone got some good ones?
Wendy, we’ll make it up to you next week with suggestions along the lines that you’re looking for.
Thanks for letting us know, and stopping by.
Hello, I just found this site while searching for articles for my product Bygone Bugs! I have some advice for Wendy, the Waste Fairy Princess…
For aphids, don’t discourage the ant population as the prey on aphids. As well, if plants are weak, aphids will attack. In essence they are weeding out weaker plants in your garden.
For bio control of the various pests, fungus, parasites, virus and bacterial infections get yourself a copy of Rodale’s guide to pest control and identification. It’s a great book, user friendly and has “hit the nail on the head” solutions for each and every problem you may have in the garden from simple mixture’s to baking soda sprays for fungus infections and alcohol/water spray’s for white flies which carry virus’s from one plant to another.
Sincerely
Jayne Ollin

Hi, I noticed the mention of Moth Traps and wanted to comment on why moths have become so common and to provide a source for CatchMaster Moth Traps.
The recent explosion in moth populations is connected to our food being shipped from overseas. It is believed that the Moth Larvae are already present in many of the grains we purchase. Once we open the bag at home, the moths begin to breed in our pantry.
Catchmaster makes a non-poison natural pheromone moth trap that contains no toxins. Fair prices and free shipping offers were available at last check from http://www.cleanertoday.com/Moth-Traps-by-Catchmaster-s/85.htm
