Besides the cool lines, comfy look, and eco-friendly factor of this chair — what I also like is that it collapses. Sometimes we just need to move stuff around, so storage and portability features can be key.

Located less than a 2-hour drive from Manhattan, the Omega campus in Rhinebeck, NY has served as a vibrant holistic living teaching and learning center since 1977, attracting a mix of extraordinary teachers and participants totalling in the thousands, annually.
According to Executive Director, Skip Backus, “We at Omega are excited to dedicate our next 30 years to becoming — and helping others become — responsible stewards of the interconnected web of life that sustains us all.”
Omega’s enviro-stewardship efforts are focused on “the world’s new crude oil – water.” They’re developing a learning center called Eco Machine — a state of the art filtration system to treat their wastewater. With plans of breaking ground this fall, the recycled water would be used to irrigate omega’s gardens and campus. More than 70 of these systems have been used over the last 20 years around the world — Omega’s will serve as a model of sustainable behavior and serve as the heart of their enviro initiatives.
Omega’s first off-campus event this year is:
Being Fearless Conference – Al Gore, Jane Goodall and Arianna Huffington to present.
April 13-15, 2007 Sheraton NY in NYC.
Omega teen camp sessions take place in July and August.
Deepak Chopra, M.D. visits August 10-12.
