Just this morning, the luxe Mercedes-Benz E320 BLUETEC nabbed the title “2007 World Green Car” at New York’s International Auto Show. BLUETEC, the world’s cleanest diesel technology, grants 20 to 40 percent lower fuel consumption than other diesel vehicles, with a boost in engine power of up to 50 percent.

With a hefty V6, this car makes 0-60 in 6.6 seconds flat. Fast and forward-thinking. Gotta love that.

It’s refreshing to see a vehicle that performs has style and is environmentally friendly. Looks great hopefully the price tag isn’t too much.

The price isn’t so bad considering the luxe-factor of the label. The E320 BLUETEC stickers for about $52,300, a grand more than it’s gas-guzzling sibling.
