Sunshine Vodka - an organic libation

sunshine_bg_fade_1.jpgGreen Mountain Distillers creates this catalyst for summer cocktails for the ever-evolving eco-hipster lifestyle.

Sunshine Vodka is quadruple-distilled from 100% organic grain and pure Vermont spring water. All grain is Certified Organic and GMO free by Oregon Tilth. Small batch fermentation and proprietary distillation processes are used in the creation of this libation. Green Mountain’s hands-on staff selects the grain, distills the spirit and markets the finished product nationwide. Whenever possible, they try to purchase raw ingredients from local farm co-ops. This close integration of field to process to product gives Green Mountain Distillers an unparalleled level of integrity and local, New England character.

Buy local, buy organic, buy American.

this is the worst vodka on the market and to be honest i dont think they should be allowed to sell it,it tastes like cheap perfume exept it doesnt smell as good as the perfume and the price is way to high for what your getting

We have to disagree. We tried this organic vodka; it has a strong kick, both in flavor and aroma, like Stollie.
Sunshine is made from local, organic ingredients with a lot of obvious care, so let’s just agree to disagree. We wouldn’t recommend using any vodka as an after-shave. cheers!

What kind of grain? Individuals who can’t eat gluten would like to purchase a type of vodka NOT made from barley, oats, wheat or rye.

Is this a corn vodka? Some other grain?

    Hey All,
The official word from the company is:
“Our products to this point are all gluten-free and also the grains we use are Certified Kosher…Our vodka is made from organic white corn. We get it from a coop of organic farmers.”
