Just bought a power strip at Walgreen's for 4 bucks. It's not a fancy high-tech one like this, but it does the job. Just plug your electronics into it and when you're not using them turn the switch to "off" and it cuts the power to them.

My TV and Computer stuff are plugged into regular strips that do have an on off switch. Not Sure whwere they are from, but I bet they have them at the local hardware. The Smart ones sound really neat though, because I forget alot.

Thanks for this posting this. It surprises me there are not more items like this available, with the attention brought to unplugging. I wish there was an inexpensive plug that simply had an on/off switch, I know I would be so much better about flipping off then unplugging everything. Has anyone ever seen something like this?
