We purchased an ecosmarte system for our new pool and noticed everyone's swimsuits are turning green. The copper level has been .5 or less. My kids suits all have a green tent and are not white anymore. Don't buy any swimsuits with white as they will turn quick!

I purchased the Ecosmart system in Jan 2010, we had nothing but problems, no customer support, we called many times and they just give us the run around. I know at least 5 other homeowners in Las Vegas having problems too. We are getting rid of the system!

I love my ECOSMARTE system. The only problem I have had is staining. Does anyone know a way to remove the stains. It is copper related & I keep my level at .5. Any higher & the staining is worse. Even though I have this problem the system is easy & effective to use. No allergic reactions or white trunks when people swim in my pool.

I needed to replace my outdated Polaris 180. I used it for 10 years and it was already over eight years old when I bought the house. The 280 cleans the pool very well with minimal maintenance. I put a 12 inches nylon sock (6 for $1.00 on the greenback retailer) over the exit going inside the bag and alter it every 3-four weeeks. This manner I shouldn't have to clean the bag. The 280 has a straightforward to deal with bag, a wider suction mouth and the back circulate gadget to move it from locations to locations within the pool every 5 min. help to make an ideal job. Polaris despatched me free of charge a G-9 coupler to hook it up from my old .seventy five inch pool wall return.

The technology that is really taking off is ultraviolet pool systems. No copper, no salt, no chlorine, just light. Used at the olympics and hundreds of public pools. Now affordable for homes. Google "ultraviolet swimming pool". The first company that comes up is spectralightuv.com and there are a few others in same business.

EcoSmarte systems are generally more expensive than Salt Chlorination systems. In my opinion they are worth every penny. I own a pool service company. We maintain 8 ecosmarte pools that never have any issues. We also maintains 80 salt pools that constantly need a lot of extra attention. Salt systems are just creating chlorine... they are a fancy chlorine pool system. If you can afford the ecosmarte turbo system get it.... It oxidizes and ionizes copper on timers and feeds CO2 to keep the ph where it needs to be... you just check the copper level and ph weekly and make adjustments to the timers. It really is the best.

Terri has a great question...mine too. Who has the answer as to why salt filtration is going so big and not ecosmarte? And, how do you adjust the ph and the cooper levels? Turning off ecosmarte seems to be counterproductive for clean water.
Thanks.

Why doesn't anyone in the pool industry know about ecosmarte? Why are salt water pool filters taking off instead of ecosmarte pool filters? It would seem it is the only logical healthy choice out their according to the ecosmarte company.

I have been a Ecosmarte salesman for many years i was one of the original people that started the Ecosmarte Planet Friendly, and even after so many years it is still great when i talk with a new customer that is excited about his new Ecosmarte pool system. today i was talking with Carl Sneck in Texas and he was so exicited. He said they have been very hot with Temperatures in the 90's. He said all of his friends that thought he was crazy to buy a Ecosmarte pools system are having problems with their salt and chlorine pools and his Ecosmarte pool is Crystal Clear he said he has not had to do anything but adjust his PH and check his copper and he said his pool is so clear he could see every detail on the main drain. it reinforces my excitement about our products. if you would like to talk about your home or pool please call me at 1-800-466-7946 ask for Joe
