EcoSmarte systems are generally more expensive than Salt Chlorination systems. In my opinion they are worth every penny. I own a pool service company. We maintain 8 ecosmarte pools that never have any issues. We also maintains 80 salt pools that constantly need a lot of extra attention. Salt systems are just creating chlorine... they are a fancy chlorine pool system. If you can afford the ecosmarte turbo system get it.... It oxidizes and ionizes copper on timers and feeds CO2 to keep the ph where it needs to be... you just check the copper level and ph weekly and make adjustments to the timers. It really is the best.

Terri has a great question...mine too. Who has the answer as to why salt filtration is going so big and not ecosmarte? And, how do you adjust the ph and the cooper levels? Turning off ecosmarte seems to be counterproductive for clean water.
Thanks.

Why doesn't anyone in the pool industry know about ecosmarte? Why are salt water pool filters taking off instead of ecosmarte pool filters? It would seem it is the only logical healthy choice out their according to the ecosmarte company.

I have been a Ecosmarte salesman for many years i was one of the original people that started the Ecosmarte Planet Friendly, and even after so many years it is still great when i talk with a new customer that is excited about his new Ecosmarte pool system. today i was talking with Carl Sneck in Texas and he was so exicited. He said they have been very hot with Temperatures in the 90's. He said all of his friends that thought he was crazy to buy a Ecosmarte pools system are having problems with their salt and chlorine pools and his Ecosmarte pool is Crystal Clear he said he has not had to do anything but adjust his PH and check his copper and he said his pool is so clear he could see every detail on the main drain. it reinforces my excitement about our products. if you would like to talk about your home or pool please call me at 1-800-466-7946 ask for Joe

Green hair is caused by high copper or low ph, or a chlorine perm or hair tint. Ask the beauty shop for non-chlorine hair treatments, they are high quality and commonly available. Phosphates at high levels can also cause green hair in both chlorine or ecosmarte pools, simply add a zero phos liquid00 its non-toxic

Does anyone have the same issue of continual high copper levels? I continuously check the PH and copper levels as well as backwash weekly however, the copper levels always seem to be high.

Hey Ed,
We responded to Janet's question via email. I would suggest you contact EcoSmarte. I doubt it was the copper level which is at the same level as drinking water in an EcoSmarte treated pool. May have been related to a hair coloring product she used or how they had the system adjusted.
