Amazing Vertical Gardens - Patrick Blanc
by Kyla @ 11:45 am 5 comments »

When he’s not building vertical gardens, French scientist Patrick Blanc studies plant adaptation at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (www.cnrs.fr). He creates beautiful, organic, vertical gardens for surfaces ranging from outdoor cityscapes to private indoor living rooms.
Uniting art and nature, but not soil, this innovative garden has all its needs built into a system that weighs less than 30 kg per square meter and requires little maintenance.
This is a great way to improve air quality and bring nature straight into the home, office, or shopping mall. Plants can be selected to thrive in certain temperatures, and will need special lighting. Wow guests when you invite them to lounge under an amazing, living piece of art.
Visit verticalgardenpatrickblanc.com for more information in either French, or English.
