This is in regard to “Senate oks Bill to Cut Greenhouse Gases” and NPRs review that it is a “babystep”. Ok, yes, they are absolutely right, it is a teeny tiny step in the right direction which is HUGE for this government! Yes, the same one that okayed drilling in Alaska. It is imperative that the Congress start leading Americans toward greener lifestyles, and my hope is that this “babystep” will turn into a trend that will grow greener each year. What the bill will do is create a standard of 35 mpg by 2020 and a standard that 15% of electricity come from renewable resources by 2020.
