We taste-tested Vermont Organic Maple Liqueur with friends who hale from New Hampshire, Vermont, and Quebec -- maple lovers, all. The liqueur was sweet, smooth, and true to maple syrup without being cloying. We enjoyed it tremendously. The fact that it's Vermont-made and organic adds to its attractiveness.
I love the product but dislike the packaging, which looks like a bottle of maple syrup. It's cutesy rather than sophisticated, and disingenuous because it plays down the word "liqueur."

The idea of an organic liquor never really entered my mind before. Still, this is a new twist to an old gift. With the holiday season just around the corner, maybe people can opt to drink this at parties instead. It's bound to make the night interesting, especially if it's as sweet as you say. I guess this is just proof that a healthy lifestyle doesn't have to be bitter.
