PAZ (pronounced paa-zh) which means “peace” in Brazilian Portugese, is a marriage of one couple’s love of travel, design, nature and animals, and their deep respect for resources and the planet.

Inspired by a trip to Brazil, Dan Fries and Melinda Damico created an eco sensitive line of hats, bags and tees by working with recycled canvas, organic cotton and faux leather (from sustainable plant matter). Very hip. PAZ donates a percentage of proceeds from each sale to Rainforest Alliance and PETA, and helps provide a sustainable source of income for the Amazonian natives, who make the “vegetable leather” without clear-cutting any land.
