Priti Organic Spa - an urban sanctuary

I recently experienced one of those rare days when the moon and the stars seemed aligned, when I was receiving so much good energy, I felt on top of the world! Such was my recent sojourn to Priti, an organic spa boutique tucked away on east first street, in nyc.

I was treated to a dreamy PRITI DAY, filled with TLC and many good and healthy treatments, head to toe…

The sweet sensations began with a delicious, deep Swedish BODY MASSAGE replete with a refreshing blend of grapefruit, lemon and juniper essential oils in a grape-seed oil base — the perfect way to unwind, and prepare for more of the subsequent, highly regarded pampering.

If there is such a thing as divine intervention, the PRITI BEAUTIFUL facial may be an earthly manisfestation. Zoe masterfully applied Dr.
Alkaitis Organic holistic skin care — Purifying Cleanser to deep cleanse; Flower Mask to remove dead, dry skin and help energize; Cellular Repair Mask with an antioxidant and vitamin-C rich formula to help fight skin damage and encourage cell renewal; Organic Day creme and Eye Creme to moisturize, protect and bring radiance to skin. Facial massage and steam balanced out the heavenly experience. I felt completely fresh and rejuvenated; my skin was revitalized.

The addictive, DEEP MANI and PEDI kicked off with a soothing foot soak of fresh rosemary, mint and essential oils. Rough edges were smoothed by: leg, foot and hand scrubs and massage, attentive grooming of toe and hand nails, and beautiful, toxin-free polish (no formaldehyde, toluene, or dibutyl-pthalates - safe for expectant moms and little tots). Not being exposed to toxic fumes was truly delightful.
