For the truly disenchanted, a black heart organic tee ($23.99) can be had @ ivealwayswantedoneofthose.com.
Why not forgo the candy this year for a sumptuous organic fruit basket? ($52.99 @ cherry moon)

Flying solo this Valentine’s Day? Head over to Portland-based Powell’s Books online store, the world’s largest, independent, new and used bookstore. Feel good with a used book to read on the fourteenth.
