ENV has gone to bed with Suzuki and a production model is supposedly in the process called the Crosscage. Some typical Suzuki modifications have appeared but it's basically the same bike. Not much has changed in the range and power departments either, but at least it would "appear" that something is happening.

Approaching the Nov elections and still nothing but more political rethoric about alternate fuel technologies. I understand health and safety issues. I understand legistation and regulation. I also understand that big oil doesn't want to see this thing hit the streets. Vehicles such as the ENV and countless others at this point would put such an overnight stress on the world economy that national security must surely be threatened as well. Get over it already. You want to end terrorism, cut the throat of overseas oil, but how do you do it without cutting the throat of big oil at home also? Who cares!

Hi I live in England and too was interested in this thing. The thing holding the production up is legislation. Unlike petrol and diesel powered vehicles there has to be a completely new set of legislations (incl health and safety) for these vehicles to start appearing on our streets. As usual, the designers and manufacturers can rapidly build such things as the ENv or X Cage but the politicians in charge of our countries talk the talk on green energy but don’t walk the walk fast enough to make it a reality. I too would happily trial one here in the UK.

I think it's time to move on completly. Intelligent Energy is all fluff when it comes to the ENV, no substance. They're more interested in thier cooperative development with Suzuki on a full-fledged motorcycle. It's a damn shame. They're really missing the boat. If launched properly, they would create and controll an entirely new transportation field.

I helped my daughter with a report for school on this very bike, 3 years ago. Let's get a move on! Are there any in production anywhere in the world yet? It's sad to see a great idea die.

I'm trying to be patient as well! I saw this bike in Wired magazine almost 2 years ago and I've been dying to have one ever since! The gas prices are making me more and more impatient...

Maybe a better SALES force is needed to do the convincing that the time is NOW. I too am still somewhat unpatiently awaiting the arrival. What will be sad is that if you wait to long, Nissan, Honda, Toyota, etc. will beat you to the punch with a 1 2 knock out blow from pure electrics with advanced battery storage. Get it in gear.
