Sensatia is sensational

As a skincare junkie, I’m always seeking the next best thing, so when co-founders of CarenOnline, Carol Kelling and Ellen Holder, sent over some new products to try, I was ready!
First, a little bit of background about this newly discovered, exotic company, Sensatia. They’re Bali-based. Their organic products are made by hand from the finest raw botanicals available, worldwide. And the company is dedicated to their local workforce, operating as a profit-sharing cooperative. All good and responsible.
Now for the labor of love. I tried 3 pure and natural, synthetic-free soaps and a fabulous body balm. Island Spice, a good-sized soap bar was true to its name. It has a yummy scent and worked like a charm all-over on my winter weary skin…must have been the 30% African Shea butter. The Wild Ginger, Carrot and Vetiver bar felt very moisturizing. It contains palm oil and extra virgin coconut oil and has a refreshing, “spa-like” scent. Volcanic Sand Exfoliator has a wonderful grey with black speckles appearance, just as the name implies. It worked great for me as a real scrubber — for feet and dry, flaky legs. Think: at-home pedicure.
And to top it off, my body dessert, Sensatia’s Relaxation Body Balm Face & Body Care. This is the bomb. Wherever I apply this hydrating balm — face, cuticles, knees, elbows — my skin just drinks up the active botanicals and essential oils — chamomile and lavender, mandarin, grape seed oil, pomegranate oil, patchouli…and it smells sensational.
So a real big Thank You to my new-found friends at caren for buttering me up:) Their online store features a variety of truly natural, 100% organic, skincare brands; and the packaging was very eco-friendly. Now I have a new place to shop whenever I need to replenish my vital skincare!
