I’m swept up by the good karma wave of today’s conservation awareness effort. Who knew the Big Turn-off would be such a turn-on? In light of tonight’s event, I’ll be participating on a very local level, even though my hometown of NYC is not officially taking part. I hope that wherever you are, you do, too.

An admitted candleholic, I’m prepared to make a striking statement of the glowing kind. Romance and intimacy may be the order of the night — firing up those eco torches of light, made from 100% beeswax or soy, with cotton wicks of course.

Not sure yet exactly what the night will entail…could keep it retro, and have an intimate game of cards — Crazy 8′s to kick things off, poker to end. Could keep it calm and quiet, with essential oils and a relaxing massage with my Prince of Darkness. The thing is, this worldwide, eco dance of darkness need not take place but once a year.
