A Tried and True, Green Products Review…I was treated to some healthy chow over the weekend, compliments of my new pals at The Honest Kitchen. Me and my canine cronies love good grub, and we were like dogs gone wild for this stuff. As an appetizer we gulped-down some of ‘Nuzzles‘ duck and cherry cookies which just got us going. (They’re made of Barley Flour, USDA Duck, Molasses, Filtered Water, Eggs, USDA Chicken Fat, Cherries, Aged Parmesan Cheese — what’s not to like?)
Then we waited while the ‘Embark’ Dehydrated Raw Dog Food rehydrated. I was so intrigued by the aroma coming from the bowl on the counter that I stood on my back legs like a circus dog and walked back and forth trying to get a better ‘sniff’. When it was ready, we mixed it with some of our regular kibble and devoured it. Then Madison (the Newfie) went straight to the counter where the bowl was, pulled it on the floor and licked it clean.
So, all in all, we thought it was an ingenious product, easier to transport and store than the traditional canned chow, not to mention much more user friendly in the look and smell department than the stanky meat-in-a-can alternatives. Four Paws!
