Solar Row - sustainable housing

One of the better ways to cut your carbs is to go solar. A row-house approach to living more sustainably is one of the latest options available to us in Boulder, Colorado.
Solar Row is an innovative, energy-efficient concept from Wonderland Hill Development. You may be familiar with Wonderland Hill, a company that’s been at the forefront of building sustainable, green housing for the past 20 years. Their first co-housing project, Nyland, which was completed in 1993, is located in Lafayette, Colorado.
Each contemporary, Solar Row unit includes a garage (for your hybrid and bikes), as well as large, outdoor living areas (decks, patios, or terraces) for your sustainable veggie and herb gardens. Best part of course is the renewable energy sources, primarily solar, that power the green building, and the abundant natural light available within the space. Many readily renewable materials are standard in each loft-style unit — bamboo floors, birch cabinetry and recycled soda bottle carpeting. As of this writing, there are 4 units available for sale.
