Lightcap 200 turns water bottle into solar lantern

Most outdoor or athletic water bottles end up in the landfill. This solar lighting product from SolLight, extends the life of your trusty water jug by repurposing it as a solar lantern. The Lightcap 200 solar LED cap is the lightest, brightest LED cap available.
Use a colored bottle or add some colorful Kool Aid and you’ve got yourself an outdoorman’s lava lamp.

That’s really cool after the all the information about BPAs we stopped using our Nalgene bottles but we didn’t want to throw them away either. Another alternative is to use them to store bulk dry goods that the plastic wouldn’t leach as much into or you can use it as a container for a first aid kit when you go hiking or just to leave in your car in event of an emergency.
That’s a pretty sweet idea. I can see decorating my patio with those, although I’d hate to create more waste with LED lights. I like the concept, though.
