Firefly Alternative Energy Group has come out with the Lunet Lighting Cover, an overhead light covers designed specifically to be used with spiral compact fluorescent bulbs. The cover is purported to reduce glare, reflect a more natural light, and add a decorative touch to overhead lighting fixtures. Designed as a clip-on that easily inserts right into the spiral bulb, Lunet comes in four styles of contemporary frosted white, stained glass, antique Roman, and art deco designs.

Lunet will work with most standard spiral compact fluorescent bulbs and comes in two sizes of 3-3/4″ and 4-1/2″ in diameter. It is made of high impact, heat-resistant plastic, which snaps easily into the wide end of the spiral bulb until secure. The Lunet Lighting Cover doesn’t enclose the entire compact fluorescent light bulb thus allowing the bulb to operate at a lower temperature to optimize bulb performance and life.
