Made from recycled, repurposed seed and feed bags, these totes will imbue any city slicker with enough barnyard chic to make them the star of their local Whole Foods. These sturdy, flat bottomed, heavy woven plastic bags are made in the high desert area of Oregon by Faye and Rose at an off-grid facility powered by wind and solar energy, hence the name Wind Bags.

You can even send the ladies your clean, uncut feed bags to be transformed.

Will you be coming to the Gresham, Oregon farmers market again? I have an empty sunflower seed bag I would like to have made into one of your fabulous totes.
Hi Faye,
Its Kathi at Second Nature in Gresham. I have a big bunch bags for you and would like to place an order for some. I have lost your card, so I need your address please.
Hi Kathi – it appears the Wind Bags folks may not be operational. We posted about them in 2008.
bags can be sent to Faye Barnes at po box 6182, Bend, OR 97708. They do NOT want bags with 3 birds and it says Wild Bird Seed. They have thousands of them.
