Bio-Beetle: Burn Clean When Visiting Maui

Prompted by a couple of friends’ invitation to visit them in Hawaii, I began to explore some travel options to this island paradise.  These days I’m traveling only vicariously to destinations far and wide, but I figured what the heck, no harm in looking. Having visited Maui a dozen years ago, visions of a spectacular sunrise experience in Haleakala surfaced in a flash, and so the fantasy of a return trip begins…

Lo and behold, I discovered an eco friendly way to cruise the winding roads — in a Bio-Beetle, fueled 100% by sustainably-renewable, vegetable-based biodiesel.  According to U.S. government studies, biodiesel reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 78% because of its closed carbon cycle. It’s also non-toxic, biodegradable and free of sulfur.  Purportedly, we’d save 70 cents/gallon over gas. discover more info about renting this clean machine @ bio-beetle.com
