Art furniture created from the smoldering, repurposed remains of the industrial revolution.   One man’s scrap pile provides another man’s raw materials.  English furniture designer and sculptor, Bob Campbell, takes the decaying debris of the once thriving South Yorkshire manufacturing industry and transforms it into one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture.  Darkly brilliant.

Pictured above: the remains of a discarded mahogany staircase are adorned with legs fashioned from pistons rescued from the salvage yard.  Transformation complete.
