  52. commentsCarrie Aug 23, 2008

I LOVE what this site is doing! There’s no recycling center close to me, so the option to do it online is great!

  82. commentsAshley Aug 24, 2008

I try to recycle as many materials I can through curbside recycling and take the rest down to the central recycling center. What a creative and useful way to recycle the Capri-Sun juice packages!

  83. commentssabb266 Aug 24, 2008

Wow! This is an incredible site. I would have never thought of recycling things like this. Very Cool

  84. commentsJaque Aug 24, 2008

This is such a creative way to use empty juice containers, love the idea and the end product. I recycle everything, well, almost everything; cardboard, plastic, metal, glass; and I try to find other uses for empty containers, i.e. I cut off the top of plastic water bottles and use them for funnels.

  85. commentsKathleen W. Aug 24, 2008

    Oh, where to begin??

I like recycling tee shirts into dust rags and also into reusable tote bags. Just sew the bottom closed and cut off the arms. The shoulders become the handles and the neck is the top. Plus jersey material doesn’t fray so you don’t even need to hem it!

  86. commentsTammy Aug 25, 2008

I don’t like recycling soup cans — I have trouble getting them clean and often will cut myself on them :(

I do like recycling toilet paper rolls though - they are handy for crafts and as cord keepers!

  87. commentsAudrey Okaneko Aug 25, 2008

Those are great looking totes! I’d love to have one.

  93. commentsBetty Nations Aug 25, 2008

These bags are sooooo cute! We recycle aluminum products through a church and they use the money to buy food for those who need it. We are in a county that has mandatory recycling for paper, plastic, glass…. and we buy useable things at garage sales and donate things we no longer need to charities so that someone else will get good from them.

  94. commentsPaula S. Aug 25, 2008

We just starting recycling a few months ago and it is so much easier than I thought it would be.

  95. commentsCarolyn Aug 25, 2008

I’ve recycled for years before it was hip! I get thirsty just looking at it!

  96. commentsAdena Aug 25, 2008

Magazines are our favorite items to recycle. Schools love to get them, especially the art teachers. And, craft directors for day camps, nursing homes and children’s hospital found them useful as well.

These are so cool. hope I win thanks.

  112. commentsJennifer C. Aug 26, 2008

That is cool! We recycle the few plastic grocery bags we still end up with (we usually buy more than what fits in our canvas totes) for cleaning out cat boxes.

We send empty egg cartons to school for them to re-use for painting bins or crafts.

  113. commentsKathy Conley Aug 26, 2008

I love how they are starting to recycle so many things now - all kinds of wrappers and boxes. My favorite thing to recycle personally is still cans - it is the easiest for me to do!

  114. commentsJodene Gildea Aug 26, 2008

    What a great idea!

  115. commentsbeth shepherd Aug 26, 2008

Thank you for having this! These are so beautiful and just plain smart thing to do. We try to recycle just about everything we can. I think the only thing we dont recycle is dirty diapers :) My least favorite part about recycling is seperating all the different kinds and then trucking the 5 large trash cans to the recycling center once a week. Thank you! I would love to win this!

I’ve saved all my corks for about 8 years,

  120. commentsBarbara Burt Aug 26, 2008

I like recycling magazines and plastic. I hate recycling corrugated cardboard because they make you tear down the box flat, then it needs to be smaller than 2′ square so it can take alot of time if you’re recycling larger boxes.

  121. commentsCarissa D. Aug 26, 2008

Great stuff. We recycle plastic bags and cans.

  122. commentsDani Aug 26, 2008

  130. commentsKaren Aug 26, 2008

I love that you can recycle batteries. I always feel great when I take a big load and turn them in at the recycle center. At home I use supermarket plastic bags as wastebasket liners, so I don’t need to buy those at all any more. Of course, now I’m taking my reusable tote to the grocery store and not getting plastic bags, but my stash should last a long time!

  131. commentsMichelle Rosborough Aug 26, 2008

I use cloth bags for shopping

  132. commentsJulia Semans Aug 26, 2008

  133. commentsHeather C Aug 26, 2008

  140. commentsJacqueline Carpenter Aug 27, 2008

My daughter took Capri Sun to school each day and so did my son as a drink with their lunch.
My daughter is 30 years old and my son is 33 and my daughter continues to buy those pouches of capri sun and every now and then I drink one
My danghter would die for one of these totes
Shannon would be a great spokes= person for Capri-Sun.
Thank you this is so wonderful.

I forgot to add I recycle aluminum and have for 18 years and have purchased many appliances from the money I recieved from the sale.I love doing this and that is why after 18 years I still recycle aluminum cans.

    we recycle plastic,glass and newspaper

  150. commentsSylvia Porter Aug 27, 2008

we get a lot of packages so we turn the packing material into art since most of that stuff doesn’t biodegrade , it’s a lot of fun!

  151. commentsAmandaG Aug 27, 2008

We recycle and reuse everything we can. Once hand me down clothes are too tired to be worn, they are used as rags for cleaning or in the garage. Milk jugs are great ‘toys’ for horses when hung the right way in stalls. Food scraps are always taken to my friends piggies. Kids can a make a few extra bucks and cut down on the litter thrown out down our streets by collecting cans.

Recycling is rewarding in more ways than one!

  152. commentsSusan Ledet Aug 27, 2008

Great looking bag! I try and recycle as much as I can. Newspapers and plastic are done weekly. Coffee grounds go in my vegetable garden and bread for the birds. We recycle clothes also - wearable ones are given to charity and all others are made into rags that I use around the house for cleaning and outside for projects.
Thank you for the nice giveaway.

Thank you for the contest. I love the Capri Sun tote.

  155. commentsStorm Aug 27, 2008

That is so cool that they are accepting items from people to turn into new stuff!

I don’t mind recycling everything we can. Plus, I buy a lot of our stuff second hand so it’s saved from being in the trash!

We try to recycle as many materials we can through curbside recycling. I smash aluminum cans and take them to the recycle center in exchange for cash. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this giveaway!

I recycle everything that the city will take, and some things that they won’t take, I reuse in various ways around the house.

I know you can “buy” reusable totes for grocery shopping, but take a look at some of the shopping bags from the Department stores that you have tucked away. Most of them are quite heavy-duty and can withstand many shopping trips. Bird Seed bags (the large ones) make great leaf/yard waste bags - one less to purchase and they are really strong. Bread bags are great for “poop patrol” disposal.

What a groovy idea, makes me think of the 60’s and volkswagon buses and the whole nine yards, thanks for helping the environment!

I liked the drink pouch lunch box. This is such a terrific site it gives all of us ideas and shows us what inovations can be made from trash.I recycle like all I try to do more all the time. Once I did braid & sew together plastic trash bags for a kitchen rug. I really liked the idea of reuseing fax machines and computers to make trash cans. Thank you for the opportunity to win this really cool bag! I lost one of my grocery store bags and if I go many places I have to dump my grocerys on the floor of the car, so as to not use any plastic bags. Winning one of these bags would sure help my problem. Thank you again!
