My family is really trying our best to recycle as much stuff as possible. We are also using as little light as we can in order to try to save energy. If one of us forgets to cut off a light, someone is yelling to cut the light off before we can get 2 steps away!!!
I no longer throw my e-waste in the garbage can.
i use shaving saop instead of canned shaving cream , also i don’t use disposable razors.
We have been recycling everything possible for years. We are in the process of changing the light bulbs over to the fluorescent ones. I have started buying “green” cleaning products. I reuse whenever I can. I am working on making even more changes where ever possible. Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

I recycle what I can of papers, cardboard, aluminum, glass and plastic (even if it means riding my bike for a couple of miles to the city drop off site!). I don’t have a car, I air dry my clothes instead of using a dryer, and I make an effort to choose organic, local, recycled and toxic-free products when I’m able.
New light bulbs and recycling.
I turn off the water when I brush my teeth, take a laundry basket to the grocery store to put my groceries in, reuse glass jars and plastic containers (like cool whip) for other things like leftovers. I also make my own babyfood for my little guy which greatly reduces waste. Thanks for this awesome giveaway! This vacuum looks amazing!!!
I purchased some pretty reusable tote bags and I use them for almost every purchase anywhere. They store in my purse and are ready all the time. We recycle anything and everything that we can and we program our thermostat for saving energy.
We are fixing what we have and maintaining things so we don’t have to buy any crap from China.
I recycle cans, paper, and plastic. I use those cloth bags to go grocery shopping. Instead of using miracle grow my family uses their own compost. The two piles of compost are coming up on being at least 10 years old and they get turned twice a year.
We now compost, have changed our light bulbs, take cloth bags to the store.
I ride my bike or walk most everywhere!
i have changed out 137 60 watt bulbs with 137 CFL to lower our churchs electric usage. have also replaced all 60 watt bulbs in my home.
We’ve been recycling for years but are doing more now to be green. Using vinegar and water for cleaning, switching out the lightbulbs, combine errands for less driving, do errands on foot when possible, reusable bags for shopping, line dry the clothes, shorter showers….and I could really use this new vacuum!
Thanks for the chance to win your great giveaway!
i reuse grocery bags and i stopped drinking bottled water
Instead of plastic bags I bring my own totes to the grocery store and every other store at this point too – I find on top of helping the enviroment it’s actually easier to carry a tote.
We recycle and compost, use reuseable totes, and changed to green cleaners and lightbulbs.
Compost and grow organic veggies.
Watch electric use and switched out light bulbs
recycle batteries, paper, etc
Use cloth bags while shopping
Use green products where available
Combine trips to save gas.
Besides recycling I also have started buying new “green” light bulbs.
Bicycle used for around town errands instead of the car and I get exercise too.
We’ve switched to energy saving light bulbs, we drive our car very little and we reuse grocery bags.
I bought those swirly light bulbs. Now I am replacing all the plasic water bottles we used to use with those steel ones. The plastic ones are so wasteful, even though we re-use them.
We recycle and take our reusable bags to the store!
Always sort your mail before bring it into the house…paper equals clutter
What I do has all been covered by previous comments. Reduce, reuse, recycle is the motto.
re using plastic water bottles, and recycling of course. Walking to the stores that are close, and using less electricity and water that has in the past been wasted by us!
We have changed out some lightbulbs and use Vinegar to clean! Thanks for the contest!

I use cloth bags for shopping and I’m working on cutting down on driving.
What we are doing to “Go Green” are: using less water, switched to Clorox Green Works products, stopped using paper towels and dont drive 1/2 as much.
I am walking to work sometimes.
I reuse the dryer sheets to dust off my Tv screens and monitors.
Grow my own and eat organic!
We recycle our cans, which is a lot of cans. lol We use the energy efficient light bulbs for all of our lights. The biggest thing we’ve started doing is instead of buying bottles of flavored water we now buy the little flavor packs (crystal light, etc.)for water. It doesn’t seem like much but we’ve really started paying attention to our waste and want to do as much about it as possible so we will be adding to this. Thank you!!
I am making my own home cleaning products. For example, here’s a recipe for a natural home cleaning product. It is easy to make, safe for the family and contains no toxic ingredients. It is a Creamy Soft Scrubber. You simply pour about 1/2 cup of baking soda into a bowl, and add enough liquid detergent to make a texture like frosting. Scoop the mixture onto a sponge, and wash the surface. This is the perfect recipe for cleaning the bathtub because it rinses easily and doesn’t leave grit. Add 1 teaspoon of vegetable glycerin to the mixture and store in a sealed glass jar, to keep the product moist. Otherwise just make as much as you need at a time. I have been using this for the past 3 months or so and it works fabulously!
To minimize fuel use and related expenses, nearly all of our driving is on a direct route that includes not only work but also the majority of our other driving habits; i.e., shopping, banking, etc. That was one of the criteria used in selecting our home…
I recycle and reuse everything I an and walk to wherever I can.
recycling and reusing…thanks.
I have been using backing soda to clean my tub and other areas in my house.
Awesome vacuum!!
We compost, recycle and use only energy saving light bulbs! :)
Thank you for the great giveaway!

We recycle cans and use cloth bags.
I’ve become a vegetarian, recycle pretty much anything I can, and no longer use plastic shopping bags. Most of my shopping is for organic products as well. Hopefully soon, I’ll be using a Eureka Envirovac too!
I have had eneergy efficient bulbs for ten years. Recently, I have reduced my water consumption.
I’m buying more green cleaning/household products.
The air conditioner is used less, we recycle, we do not eat alot of meat and my husband carpools to work to save on gas
We do many green things! We re-use dryer sheets, use squigly light bulbs, recycle plastic and cans, drive a lot less and much more!!
Thanks for the giveaway! This is great!
I recycle everything!
My son is on a mission to always turn out any light we aren’t using. It’s pretty dark around here at night. In fact, he even gave up his night light. We are real proud of him.
Let’s see… I use recyclable and reusable shopping bags and reuse the same produce bags at the store. We use only energy saving lightbulbs in our house. All paper, plastic, steel, aluminum and glass goes in the recycle bin. We also keep the thermostat at 80 during the summer days. Thanks for the giveaway!!!!
Recycling and using cloth totes instead of plastic bags at the grocery store.
Our family has cut down to one car. It really makes us prioritize trips to town. Even though the scheduling can be tricky it helps save gas and the environment.
