UPDATE:  September 26, 2008 – 8:30a, EST.  It’s official, Congratulations to our two lucky winners,  Leslie and Cheryl!  Must be that the presidential election is on my mind, but I just noticed  that appropriately enough, both our winners happen to reside in so-called swing states:) Thanks to everyone for participating, and stay tuned for our next Giveaway, to commence soon.

Here’s a fun giveaway — the NaughtiBod is a pocket-sized, phthalate-free, self-pleasuring device that dances to the beat of the music on your iPod, iPhone, or MP3 player. Wacky, crazy stuff — and a high-quality gizmo to help you relax.

seamus the eco dog – weird stuff

I’ve never had a to wear a cone like this but if I did I’d probably end up as one of those problem dogs being re-programmed by Caesar Milan on the Dog Whisperer. Now, who wants to be described as ‘calm submissive’?

The ceramic “Carlos Night Light” is 7.5″ tall with removable collar.  I wonder what happened to poor Carlos?

We canine’s have existed for over 50 gazillion years without wearing fancy footwear. We are not Barbie dolls awaiting the next dress-up party. Then again, if you’re scampering down a rock salt-covered sidewalk in Manhattan in icy February some footwear might be in order…

Natural Body—treat yourself!

Because everybody needs a little pampering once in a while, I treated myself to a facial yesterday, using birthday present money (thanks, Aunt Tommie!), at the Natural Body spa in Raleigh, NC. Natural Body is a green spa with locations in seven southern, states and D.C. (Check out their website for exact locations.)

The spa is topnotch and carries coveted yet hard-to-find natural skincare lines like Jurlique, Red Flower and Naturopathica.

I went in for the Naturopathica Anti-Oxidant Enzyme Facial, which included a much-needed deep cleansing and a natural fruit enzyme peel that smelled like a fresh berry smoothie. My technician gave me an above average face, neck, shoulder and hand massage that left me feeling like an entirely new person, and my skin looked healthy, toned and hydrated afterward. I would definitely recommend this treatment. I’m excited to go back and try some of the other menu options as well, such as a Jurlique facial or a Signature Massage. I just hope I don’t have to wait until my next birthday!
