You’re so right – New England winters are fiercely cold; these eco-minded coats are intended for more mellow fall weather – when the air is delicious like a Honey Crisp apple. And yay, good for you — there’s nothing better than a great thrift shop find. enjoy!

These don’t look like they could survive a new england winter. I think I would rather stick to my pretty thrifted $20 coat that will still be cute two or three years from now. That’s eco friendly and economical for you! No jacket, however well made, should cost that much, especially if it’s just fleece…

Within reason? They may seem a little pricey, but given the upsides of quality material, craftsmanship and style, I think there’s still value in these investments; they’re made to last. Feel free to send in any of your suggestions.

Seriously? If you’re down about the economy spend over $200 on a coat? I’m all for eco-friendly as much as possible, but it would be nice if you featured at least one that’s within reason.
