		<description>Thanks for the important comment Ms Philly~ you&#039;re correct. I was just proposing it as an alternative to disposing directly into the water supply (for people unwilling to wait until Hazardous Waste Day, or make the effort to dispose of at locations indicated on packaging). It&#039;s the lesser of two evils~ but evil no less (why I encouraged purchasing biodegradable options). Upon consideration of the massive amounts of material brought up from the earth already (concrete, all metals, etc) I guess I felt that kitty litter wasn&#039;t as harmful~ plus, there&#039;s always the eco-friendly option of &quot;Swheat Scoop&quot; litter available.</description>

		<description>No disrespect intended but environmental toxins should be turned in on Hazardous Waste day.  Mixing it with coffee or kitty litter still allows it to leach into the soil and ground water once it&#039;s in the landfill.  Plus kitty litter is an environmental nightmare as far as production.</description>
