Not all reusable totes are created equal.  What does this one have going for it?  It’s reusable, kinda cute, can be washed by hand in cold water and costs only $1.50  However, it’s made of 100% polypropylene, imported, and printed on both sides with non-eco friendly dyes.  I surmise it was made in China, and then shipped to the U.S. for distribution.

It would be much more ecological if it were: made in the U.S., from any number of more eco-friendly fabrics, and printed with non-toxic dyes. via forever21.com
