Deckstool has taken skateboard furniture to a new level by utilizing broken, repurposed skateboards as the raw material for these cool looking stools. The boards are harvested from that urban mecca of eastern skateboarding, Philadelphia, and though finely crafted, retain the character and wear patterns of their previous life on the streets. Longer sections of broken decks become legs and shorter sections become seats. The skateboard’s truck ties the whole deal together.

I am looking to buy recycled skateboards to make clocks and shelves for my son. Where can you purchase recycled decks and or completes?
Love the stools!
Thanks
Danielle
You can buy used skateboards on Ebay or Amazon but you’re probably much better off hitting your local tag sales, fleamarkets and board shops. Deckstool uses broken decks for many of their designs which should cost pretty much zero if you can find them. Post a notice at your local skateboard shop if they have bulletin board.
