graintowerbed.jpgThe character of the pine comprising this headboard is the result of a hundred years of small grains flowing over its surface.  The antique pine of this piece comes from what was once the largest grain elevator in the world, located in Superior, Wisconsin. The original structure held an impressive five million bushels and rose 150 feet into the air.

The Grain Polished Headboard (pictured above) features antique pine from the interior of the tower’s granary bins. The natural erosion of the pine over the past century has formed the unique undulation seen on the top of each piece.
