Interesting, yes; a practical bird habitat, probably not so much.
I would speculate that this concept is more decorative than bird-friendly.  The solar panel atop the birdhouse charges a battery that lights the house’s perch at twilight.

Will the glowing perch attract insects for the hungry bird or, more likely, the appreciative glances of guests who marvel at its ornamental novelty?

Perhaps a more appropriate idea for a bat house.
