U.K. consumer products designer Sarah Turner’s ReDesign range transforms discarded plastic bottles into designer lighting fixtures and lamps.

Bottles are cleaned, sandblasted and upcycled into decorative shapes totally unrecognizable from their original form. Then they are screwed into the inner shade, which is made from recycled card. Turner has 3 different lampshade designs which can be utilized as floor, table or ceiling lamps. She will soon be selling the lampshades, but until then, you can vote for her designs at the Ideal Home Show website in the Concept Products 2009 Competition.

Simply marvelous! At first glance, you will not notice that these decorations are made from plastic products. The things that we consider as worthless or trash can still be reused or recycled and serve other purposes – the same goes with paper products. May this example serve as a wake-up call to those who take for granted the importance of recycling not just to us but to the environment as well.
May this serve as an inspiration to all of us the next time we throw another plastic bottle or waste paper products unconsciously. Art indeed comes in many forms and thankfully, we have creative minds that come up with brilliant ideas such as these so that we can maximize the paper or plastic products that we just treat as trash.
beautiful……i want to make like this….but i can`t so hard & difficult
