Here’s an idea whose time has come, the doggie duvet.

Re-cover that stanky old dog bed with a new, all cotton, designer, dog duvet from Molly Mutt. You can also repurpose old clothes and blankets by using them to fill one of Molly Mutt’s nylon stuff sacks to create your comfy dog bed. Throw the whole deal in the washing machine when the time comes. check out their DIY kits.

Interesting, yes; a practical bird habitat, probably not so much.
I would speculate that this concept is more decorative than bird-friendly. The solar panel atop the birdhouse charges a battery that lights the house’s perch at twilight.
Will the glowing perch attract insects for the hungry bird or, more likely, the appreciative glances of guests who marvel at its ornamental novelty?
Perhaps a more appropriate idea for a bat house.

Do we really need a flying car, or…is this the new definition of hybrid? The latest in multi-purpose transportation, the Transition aircraft, is designed to fly 400 miles at over 100 mph and handle the road at highway speeds, all on regular gas.

Woburn, Massachusetts-based, Terrafugia Inc., recently got this thing in the air at an upstate NY airport. You’ll need both a driver’s and pilot’s license to get the full user experience of the vehicle. The designers say it transforms from car to plane in just 30 seconds.

The character of the pine comprising this headboard is the result of a hundred years of small grains flowing over its surface. The antique pine of this piece comes from what was once the largest grain elevator in the world, located in Superior, Wisconsin. The original structure held an impressive five million bushels and rose 150 feet into the air.
The Grain Polished Headboard (pictured above) features antique pine from the interior of the tower’s granary bins. The natural erosion of the pine over the past century has formed the unique undulation seen on the top of each piece.
