(Original Post): Kick off spring by winning an eco-friendly lawn tool. This awesome Great Green Giveaway is sponsored by Black and Decker. Our First Prize Winner will be able to spruce up their yard by using a brand spanking new, eco friendly, rechargeable cordless lawnmower. The Second Prize Winner will receive a rechargeable, cordless leaf sweeper.

They run on electricity. No need for gasoline! These lawn care tools emit zero emissions with no spilled oil or gasoline to pollute the environment and your yard. How cool is that? Save money, the planet and your hearing, (these are a lot quieter than gas-powered devices). The EPA reports that a gas powered lawnmower emits as much air pollution (volatile organic compounds) in one hour as driving a car for 100 miles. The Cordless Lawnmower is Energy Star rated, and will cost less than $10 per year to operate.
If you don’t have a yard but know someone who does – these clean and green yard tools would make great gifts.
1st Prize valued at approximately $400 + (plus free shipping, anywhere in the U.S.)
2nd Prize valued at approximately $70 + (plus free shipping, anywhere in the U.S.)

Using these tools mean less reliance on foreign oil.
these would help my housemate out so much, since he takes care of the yard. it would be a green gift to him that i know he’d appreciate.
nothing more to say than this thing looks cool!!! They would definitely get me out in the yard : )
Either one would fit my lifestyle as I lost all my lawn equipment in a house fire. Even my lawnmower melted in the shed near the house.
These two items would be life savers for me and for the environment, how could I lose?

~TWO THUMBS UP~
These yard tools would suit my lifestyle very nicely! Our whole family has taken a more positive approach concerning “Going green”. We recycle, limit our water usage, turn lights off when we leave a room, carpool or make the most out of errands so that we save on gas, and even unplug appliances until we need them. It’s a great feeling!!
We have a very small yard and this would be perfect for it.

These cordless rechargable tools would help me tremendously as I take care of three elderly women’s gardens and have a car filled with hand tools etc. If I were to have a leaf blower that I actually could start up without an outlet or having to pull the cord on a gas powered tool (a lot of times I’m just not strong enough) that would make my job a lot easier. Oh and I could take these to the cemetary where I maintain a few gravesites. Thanks for a great giveaway!
Hubby and I aren’t spring chickens anymore and these look as though they would be much easier for us to handle.
this would be sooooo cool and sooo green

If you really want to go green..you would support wind an solar energy. Then use a corded lawn mower. These batteries can only be recharged so many times. They become less effective as time goes by.You can only recharge then so many times. Then you need to replace that battery. No matter what the company claims, there are still hazadorous materials released in or earth…One Planet..One Human Race…
