EcoSmart fireplaces now qualify for Federal Tax Credits for Energy Efficiency.  EcoSmart’s line of fire products include freestanding and built-in fireplaces that are vent-free and do not require any installation or utility connection for fuel supply.  They’re fueled by denatured ethanol, an environmentally friendly, clean burning, renewable fuel.  Consumers who purchase any EcoSmart Fire between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010 will receive up to 30 percent, or $1,500 in tax credits on their purchase.
