CoveringsETC is the innovative manufacturer of the ECOverings line of floor, wall and countertop materials created from recycled and reclaimed materials.

The company’s BIO-GLASS product, created from recycled glass (above) has received Cradle to Cradle certification.

ECOvering’s new line, BIO-LUMINUM (below R), uses recycled airplane parts to create sleek looking tile with an industrial flavor.

The alloys that lend structural strength to aircraft parts make the parts impossible to recycle by traditional processes.  CoveringsETC melts the aluminum into blocks that are then cut into slices much like the process used to cut quarried stone.  The previously un-recyclable aircraft material is thus kept out of the junkyard, or airplane graveyard providing designers and home owners a surface material that is stylish, utilitarian and a great topic of conversation.

In addition to BIO-GLASS and BIO-ALUMINUM, the ECoverings line includes:

ECO-CEM (below) – a composite material made of cement, strengthened with recycled, pre-consumer fly ash (cellulose). For that warm industrial look you love.

ECO-GRES (below) – pre-cast terrazo tiles made of unglazed porcelain.  Durable, with no need to seal or wax.

ECO-TERR (below) – made from recycled natural stone aggregates.  This is a durable, zero VOC material that doesn’t support microbial growth, moisture retention or mold.
