Thanks for the article. I have an old car and the battery is always giving me problems (that solar charger would save me the life – well, it would be a better business to change the battery :) Very good site.

Although the use of solar power to charge batteries is not a new technology, making these panels portable, resilient, and affordable is a fairly recent occurrence. Gone are the days wherein solar panels are heavy, fragile, and expensive.

Hey, how are you? Great stuff. When I put up my HD I always use my battery tender. It has saved the life of my battery, in fact I have not changed my battery in six years and my bike starts at a moments notice. Just a trickle charger is not enough you need to use the tecnology of the battery tender.

My question is what dad’s battery hasn’t run down? Oh you meant car battery.

This would be great for those cold winter days when every car needs a little extra juice – don’t let my dad see it though he doesn’t need any more excuses to buy a new toy. ;)
