Cookie monsters out there — beware!
Right now, if you happen to have Nestle Toll House Cookie Dough refrigerated products in any form, including some ice cream — do NOT open the package. Nestle has voluntarily issued a recall of these products…
Note: we’ve been alerted that Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream products and brands manufactured by Dreyer’s, including Edy’s and Nestlé branded ice cream and frozen dessert/snack products aren’t impacted.

I’m in the market for a new bed. These eco friendly hemp numbers from Bambeco seem to fit the bill. The 100% hemp cover is removable, washable, mildew resistant, antibacterial, antifungal and grown without pesticides – we’ll have to test the durability. Bambeco says their hemp fabric is made with non-chemical, earth friendly azo-free dyes. Their hypo-allergenic bed inserts are “green fiber,” made of recycled post consumer plastic bottles; and are channel quilted to keep the fiber in place. A perfect platform for an eco-canine snooze-fest.
prewashed & preshrunk – in Brown, Blue, Red, Orange and Green; sm $120, med $140, lg $160 @ bambeco.com
This journal’s for all you eco-hipsters working in design or slaving away at an ad agency. Take this out in your next brainstorming session and you’ll make quite a statement about your personal style, the cheesy quality of your life, your affinity for Warhol-style pop art, and/or your festering mac & cheese addiction.
Ivy Lane Designs created this upcycled notebook from a landfill-bound Kraft Mac & Cheese box and 50 acid-free, blank, white, recycled pages (100 front and back). Backed with heavy-duty chipboard. All for $8.
