I turned off the A/C and opened all the windows for the entire week!!
The greenest thing I’ve done this week is rounding up all of the plastic bottles and aluminum cans from everyone on a camping trip to take back home to recycle-the campgrounds only had trash receptacles and I hated the thought of all that trash just going to a landfill. I stuffed it all in a huge trash bag and stowed it away for the 80 mile drive home-my friends made fun of me but it’s worth it! LOL

My husband and I carpool to work every day.
Thanks!
I started carpooling with my coworker twice a week. Since we commute 20 miles each way 2 days a week makes a big difference.
The greenest thing I accomplished THIS week was to go find someplace to recycle some old cell phones I have been keeping for way to long and meaning to recycle. I found a boz at whole foods that does this.
I bought a new car that gets MUCH better gas mileage=)
I cut back on my electricity use by unplugging all of my appliances that aren’t in use.

The most green thing I’ve done this week is I stopped driving to work and I’ve started taking the light rail twice a week. I’m trying to save money and cut down on my environmental impact.
We just recently bought a programmable thermostat so that our air conditioner turns off when we’re not home during the day and only turns on right before we get home to start cooling off the house.
I fill up my car after dark. That way the gas fumes aren’t turned into ozone pollution by the sun. Living in Phoenix having clean air is really important.
