The U.K.’s By Nature is launching a new range of kids’ lunch kits that are reusable and waste-free.

Reusable lunch kits can help eliminate the daily disposal of foil, plastic bags, used juice cartons and containers destined for the landfill, sidewalk or playground.  The colorful lunch sets come in a choice of kid-friendly caterpillar or butterfly designs.

By Nature’s lunch kits not only lessen trash, but also, are made of the safest, non-leaching, bisphenol-A-free, (BPA-free) and phthalate-free materials available.

Each lunch kit contains a stainless steel drink bottle, 2 stainless steel containers with leak proof plastic lids, 1 Food Kozy™ (reusable bag for sandwiches, cheese etc..), 1 cotton napkin, 1 recycled aluminum tag.

The lunch kits retail at £29.95 and will be available at www.bynature.co.uk from September 2009. They are available for pre-order from August 1st 2009.

This is a great sustainable concept.  If you need one now, you might try creating your own set by buying individual eco-friendly reusable items…of course they might not look quite as snappy…
