The eniCycle is a rechargeable, zero emissions, gyroscope-controlled means of transport that’s probably best suited for circus performers, individuals who are strapped for space and those determined to risk their lives making a statement about alternatives in modern transportation. Designed by Slovenian engineer Aleksander Polutnik, the eniCycle, though still a prototype, may soon be coming to a bike shop nearby.

Some features: the eniCylce is compact – it can fit in an office cubicle or the trunk of your car (it can also be charged by a car battery), charges itself when going downhill and is more agile than a bike.
To ride the eniCycle, you sit on the seat and place your feet on foot rests on both sides of the wheel. Much like the Segway, fhe eniCycle’s electronic gyroscope constantly measures the cycle’s vertical angle and prevents the rider from falling forward or backward. If you lean forward, the onboard gyroscope cues the cycle to accelerate, putting the eniCycle back in balance. When the rider leans back, speed is decelerated. The cycle’s control runs 100 times per second and always stabilizes eniCycle in a perfect vertical position.
Product testing revealed it took most people roughly 30 minutes to learn to ride this thing. No word on injuries or casualty counts.
