We are currently looking for a house and our one big requirement besides price is that it is a mile from a train station. We figure not just to save gas by using a train but also by walking and not driving to the station.
Lately it’s been bothering me that I don’t recycle enough, and that there’s no recycling program in my city to speak of, so one green change I’ve made is to start a recycling program for my small apartment building by setting up bins in the entryway and taking them to the nearby center each week. Thanks for the giveaway – both the laptop sleeve and bottle are terrific items!

Love the green products. We have steadily marched towards a greener household by the standard methods such as buying local, reducing water usage, and recycling. Its my goal to incorporate a greener “workstyle” at our business.
Stopped buying Paper Towel and only using cloth :)
Great products! I go green by planting an organtic garden, hang out my clothes to dry, unplug applainces, and turn off lights when not in use ,also recycle
Thanks

I no longer buy things that are in packaging with the plastic around it unless possible. I have also went to organic gum that is in a box instead of plastic. I also don’t use plastic bags in stores I use the cloth bags. Also if I just buy one or two things I just carry the stuff out.I have also started recycling.
The newest thing we’ve done is looked for used items over by new items.

As well as using refillable water bottles now instead of disposable, our newest thing is cloth napkins. It’s quite a mess with two kids, but will definitely cut down on the paper towel usage in our house.
Let’s see…the newest green lifestyle change I’ve made is to keep cereal boxes to collect paper for recycling. I know many people use paper grocery bags which then get recycled instead of being reused. I also use my empty dry cat food bags to collect dirty cat litter and do not dispose of it until it is full. This saves many plastic bags from being tossed out in the garbage. I used to use cereal box lining bags to dispose of dirty diapers. This way, the odor would be sealed in and we would not have to empty the garbage pail before it was full (saving plastic garbage bags). Thanks for the chance to win!
