I love the Gaiam DVD’s. We help mother earth by recycling, using reuseable grocery bags, using refillable water bottles, energy saving light bulbs, limiting our energy useage, have energy star appliances, and we’re planting a garden this fall.
I have been carpooling with my friends to school a lot lately.
we replaced our plastic water bottles with stainless steel ones.
I have a year round organic vegetable garden, multiple fruit trees, a composting bin and I let my lawns completely die. I will soon replace each lawn with drought resistant plants.
We did organic gardening on our deck with such success that we started a garden plot on the earth>> we have to fence it to keep out the deer! We have turned the soil so many times it is unreal>> we cannot compost because of the bears so we added old horse manure and cow manure, tons of dried leaves we had from last year, confetti from our shredder, coffee grinds and now we have planted soy>> used during the dust bowl to nourish the earth and also rye grass. Now we are working on deer fencing to close it in. We have ordered a cherry tree to also be inside the fence, it comes in October! And tons of other things too.
I also lost 14 pounds so working gear is needed now, thank you for the chance to win them
We bike to work every day, and are switching out our incandescent bulbs for CFLs this weekend.
I take my useable water bottle with me everywhere I go.
I recycle everything I can
I recycle, donate and reuse! Almost all of my light bulbs are the efficient twisty kind, I have a compost pile and grow some of my veggies.
I use a brita filter so I dont buy plastic water bottles

I recycle everything I can-everything from plastic and paper to computers and used motor oil and tires.
We recycle newspaper, cans, and lots more!
I recycle just about anything and reuse anything that can be reused. I no longer purchase bottled water and have changed all the light bulbs to energy efficient.
We recycle use cloth shopping bags and use stainless steel water bottles.
Our family only uses reusable bags for groceries and going to the market. I also belong to freecycle so others can make use of what I no longer need or want, rather than throwing items away. I make sure everyone in our home turns off lights when they leave the room and not to let the hot or cold water run continuously. There’s alot more but dont want this turning into a novel :-)
Added addy to my email addy.
