My favorite is the Chocolate. These look so warm. Thanks so much for offering this giveaway and Happy Holidays.
I forgot to add, to make my holiday greener, we are using recyled wrapping paper.
I also subscribed. Thanks again.
My favorite color I think is Chocolate – this way if I’m sipping my Fair Trade hot chocolate and a little spills, no big deal!
I am wrapping my gifts in the organic cotton wrapping bags from http://www.luckycrow.com, I’ll be using local, organic and grass fed ingredients for holiday meals and combining any shipping I’ll be doing.
Thanks!
To make our holiday greener, we are limiting the amount of time we spend in the car. We are trying to do most of our shopping within a few mile radius or online. By doing so, we will not use as much gas, and reduce the amount of carbon that we would normally emit driving all over town looking for the right gifts. In addition, I am leanring how to start a compost – thereby, reducing what goes into the trash…
Oh one more thing – I follow both @altCon and @Gaiam and tweeted about the contest through my twitter account: mtnmama26_2
My favorite is the Organic Cotton Fireside Throw in Mulberry. Brrrr…I need it now :)
For a greener Christmas, I recycle wrapping paper and tissue – I make envelopes out of them.

I really like the fireside throw in chocolate. This year I am wrapping my gifts in old newspaper. I also bought some recycled wrapping paper for when I run out.

i love the chocolate!
I also am a fan on Facebook ~ Lucky Cat
the chocolate brown, it would match the rest of my bedding hehe.
and this year we are making gifts (aka baked goods) and wrapping them in recycled foil. =D
My favorite is the chocolate!
This year all of my gifts & wrappings are green. Some are repurposed, but my favorite gift to all my family is the mesh produce bags I am making, in hopes they will no longer need to use plastic! Happy Holidays :)
My favorite is the sage! I am wrapping all my gifts in newspaper (I especially like using the funnies section). Also, instead of cranking the heat up, my family and I are wearing lots of layers. Cozy :)
I love the sage!
We reuse gift bags and put our lights on timers. Happy Holidays!
chocolate is a favorite!! I am also using either recycled wrapping paper or reusable bags for my gifts. I am not sending christmas cards this year and we did not get a tree, not putting up lights to save energy (both time and money!) I may sound like a scrooge, but we decorated with fresh greens from an arboretum. I even made my own wreat this year!!
also just became a fan on facebook Melinda Swope-Quintero.
This year, to make xmas greener we decided as a family( there’s 7 of us) to give only gifts that we made ourselves, are useful, and involve recycling in some way. My eldest three kids are making rag rugs for all the inlaws, and my youngest two are making collage candle holders out of glass bottles. I figure all of teh gifts coming out of our house this year will be heirlooms, very useful, and hopefully inspire the rest of the family to cut down on wasteful purchases. We’re really looking forward to it. OH.. we’re facebook fans and our favorite throw is chocolate!
My favorite is the mulberry. I will be sitting inside sipping cocoa where its warm. Its toooooo cold to go out and do anything else! :)

I drastically cut down on my potential electric usage this year — LESS IS MORE.
No need for some many lights — over usage is irresponsible.
The blanket looks yummy btw!
This year one of the ways i’m being more green i’m not sending out any paper cards with the exception of one to an older family member who doesn’t have a computer and would not understand not getting a card. Though I am crafting a card with stuff I already have around the house.
My favorite of the throws is Mulberry.

red – recycling paper
fireside throw in Black. using low energy lights
Recycled cards. Making gifts from craft supplies on hand at home.
I love love love the chocolate! Also, I became a fan on facebook and shared the link the contest there.
to make the holidays greener I am recycling old cards, using less lights and in general buying LESS and giving MORE!!
I love the chocolate! This holiday is greener in our house by using an artificial tree, using recycled gift wrap and gift bags and making personal gifts as opposed to buying them.
I wonder why they’re called green. Is it because they’re made out of organic cotton?
I’m definitely a Chocolate lover!! This Christmas is greener, I use the paper Comics for wrapping and recycled bags & tissue paper.
It’s funny you should ask that? For the Holidays I do not have much money to spend and so I am making sugar free, flour free organic rice crispie treats (I got the recipe from the book The Kind Diet — maybe this will inspire my loved ones to clean up their diet and we all know, a cleaner diet = a greener planet.

I really like the light stripe colour of this cozy looking throw!
To green up the Holidays I am recycling gift bags from previous seasons, and also ensuring to take my resusable shopping bags with me when I hit up the stores!
I am also following you on Twitter (@theyogagirl).
Happy Holidays!
Chocolate. That’s always my favorite.
I always wrap with something that’s laying around rather than use real wrapping paper.
I love the sage! I am giving edibles as gifts and reusing glass jars from products I already buy to give them!
We are doing a number of things, including re-using wrapping paper to make new paper, using LED lights, and ensuring that we use recycleable bottles and plates rather than disposable.
I like the Light Brown Striped Fireside Throw.
Over the last few years we have really tried to give Eco friendly products as gifts. Such things as Organic beauty products, thermos (instead of using paper coffee cups), Gift Certificates for hair cuts and spa treatments and Gift Baskets full of Organic products. It is quite easy to give green products as gifts. Thank you for this nice giveaway.

love the “light strip”
I’ve been recycle and reuse almost everything all my life, no waste in my home
Oh they are all so very pretty! But I find the ‘SAGE’ very alluring ;)
This christmas I’m making it ‘greener’ but purchasing less toys for my niece and nephews.. There’s so much plastic and junk covering the toys plus they have too many as it is.. I get them simple gifts like crayons and colouring books [some have been made with recycled paper].
I’m also wrapping gifts with newspaper and tying them with twine.
On top of that for friends and relatives; I’ve been canning preserves and making jars up of my cookie and brownie recipes [minus the wet ingredients] so they can bake everything themselves.
I find it’s more from the heart than spending hours in stores fighting the mobs for a material object that the person may not even like.

Persimmon colour is nice. Saving energy whenever, carpooling. Added to Facebook with name Jenny Kim and subscribed.
i’m in serious love with the paprika. for the holidays i’m reusing old gift bags, wrapping with lovely magazine pages, and not wasting a real tree!
thanks!
this winter, i’ll be turning off my christmas lights after 1am to save electricity!
I love the Mullberry colored one!! Weatherproofing my house so I consume less energy.
