The joy, the wonder, the splendor and yes, the turmoil of Christmas is over in what may seem like, the blink of an eye.
I’m sure we’ve all done the best we could giving to family, friends and those in need over the holidays, and maybe there were some ups and downs along the way. Remember the good; forgive and forget the not so great moments. In my book, it’s time to kick back and treat myself to something special. How to do it? Let me count the ways, and feel free to jump in…
- a No To Do List day – just be. Do or not do whatever you want, be completely spontaneous.
- A Curl Up and Read a Book Day – no distractions, shut the cellphone, close the blinds. It’s just you and the words.
- Yoga Plus Day – stretch those muscles, and reach a little further into the Me Zone. Grab a pal and catch up at the wine bar, tea salon or walking together along a path in the woods.
- Treat yourself to an aromatherapy massage or acupuncture session. Give to yourself, recharge, you will thank yourself many times over.
