More about The Toad culture, which is oriented around community, sustainability and good old fashioned fun — and a little background about the Search for Adventure program and the PepsiRefresh Project. Eleven years ago, Horny Toad partnered with Search Developmental Center, a non-profit life-skills training group that works with adults who have developmental disabilities. The partnership gave rise to Planet Access Company (PAC), which provides training and work opportunities to this important population. To date, millions of Toad items have been picked, packed and shipped with unmatched reliability and enthusiasm by the PAC work crew – cool huh?
Horny Toad’s next challenge was to answer the question, “What’s work without play?” The answer was Search for Adventure (SFA), an experiential travel program that uses proceeds from PAC and a grant from Horny Toad to send Search residents and members of the PAC work crew to have opportunities to see the world outside of the daily routine; not just survive but thrive, learn and experience.
These are experiences that you and I may take for granted but empower people with developmental disabilities to achieve their full potential and lead rich and rewarding lives. With enough votes, the Search for Adventure program will get the funding it needs to make a difference in the lives of developmentally disabled adults. With your vote you can help make that happen. Now that’s fun. Find more toads @ www.hornytoad.com

I love the eco-friendly Rosita jacket. I use a combination of style and environmental awareness when purchasing items of every sort. Unfortunately, price has to have some of an impact too though. Luckily, the green market is expanding by leaps and bounds every day!!
Totally voted for them. What a great idea and great cause!
I love the Rosemarie Dress. I think about style and price, but at my age, it’s all about comfort.
I love the pixie pants.
I definitely check price but I also check the label looking for where it is made, and what it is made of. I want quality but I can’t pay top dollar for it.

I like the micha shirt.
I shop by style and color but really only look at cotton items anyway. I am allergic to wools and synthetics.
The yolo skirt is great. I love the look of it!
I always look at the label before buying. Horny Toad and Nau are two of my favorite brands. Funny, The Morrison jacket is already on my wish list!

I follow you on FB as Jay Cee.
i like the mickey shirt.
storm tank top is my favorite- like the styles- thats what I look at then the price
For me, I always check price. Then I check where it is made, the brand, etc, and see whether the brand/company is green or eco-friendly!
I like the storm tank top!

I adore the Rosemarie dress. Thanks for the chance.
I go by feel rather than what the label says. My fave item was the leighton capri.
my fave item is the Pixie pants in fossil/stone color!
and for me, it honestly is about both style and price along with reading a garment’s label before making a purchase — it’s nice to have stylish clothing that’s affordable and doesn’t harm the environment (c:} thank you for the chance!

Women’s Dezra Shirt
Just like when I go shopping for food, it has become a habit to check labels – whether it is ingredients in food or ingredients in clothes. I’m so glad that Horny Toad offers not only great looking, affordable clothes, but eco-friendly clothes.
I also subscribed and am now following you on Twitter.
@Jesse_Harding
Forgot to say what my favorite Horny Toad item is. My favorite would have to be the Frazer shirt. It’s one of the most comfortable shirts I have.
I like the woody jacket. My current mode is checking the price and look before anything.
Also, just voted for Search for Adventure. What a great idea and thank you for sharing this. And I just became a fan on Facebook. Woohoo!
I love the May Tank for active wear- it looks terrific and I love the breathable fabric blend. And yes, I read labels, because I don’t want to buy anything too high-maintenance, but price and style matter a lot!
I love their Wind Skirt. I’d wear that every day!!!
Thanks for the awesome giveaway!!! :)
I forgot to say that I’d wear that skirt all of the time because skirts are so easy to wear. I can wear them to work, or out on a walk or around the house and I’m always comfy. I do look at price tags, but if it’s under $50 and I’d wear it once a week…that’s a deal.
I follow you on Twitter as katygmorris.
Thanks!
I voted for Search for Adventure. They rock!
I Tweeted about this giveaway here: http://twitter.com/katygmorris/status/9846977696
Thanks!
It is about style and raw material for me. Look at label but doesn’t really factor into my decision making process much. fave item is reyna shirt in ebony
tvollowitz at aol dot com
I really like the Puerto Shorts
Its mor eabout style to me but the style has to equal the amount for the item
And the Stone Colored Puerto Shorts are perfect for 62$
I like the leighton capri pants. I do check labels – but price and the quality of the garment is a big factor for me
I like the zora shirt looks great and cool for the summer. I tend to look at the label when buying clothes I want something that travels well and is low maintenance. If it is great quality clothing then price doesn’t matter as much.
HESTON 32 PANTS
It’s always style first and then price; if I love the style, I’ll pay more for the item.
I really like the Yolo Long Shorts; I don’t like my shorts too short for summer and these look very comfortable.
