More about The Toad culture, which is oriented around community, sustainability and good old fashioned fun — and a little background about the Search for Adventure program and the PepsiRefresh Project. Eleven years ago, Horny Toad partnered with Search Developmental Center, a non-profit life-skills training group that works with adults who have developmental disabilities. The partnership gave rise to Planet Access Company (PAC), which provides training and work opportunities to this important population. To date, millions of Toad items have been picked, packed and shipped with unmatched reliability and enthusiasm by the PAC work crew – cool huh?
Horny Toad’s next challenge was to answer the question, “What’s work without play?” The answer was Search for Adventure (SFA), an experiential travel program that uses proceeds from PAC and a grant from Horny Toad to send Search residents and members of the PAC work crew to have opportunities to see the world outside of the daily routine; not just survive but thrive, learn and experience.
These are experiences that you and I may take for granted but empower people with developmental disabilities to achieve their full potential and lead rich and rewarding lives. With enough votes, the Search for Adventure program will get the funding it needs to make a difference in the lives of developmentally disabled adults. With your vote you can help make that happen. As a student, price is the barrier to the style and composition that I am looking for. My favorite design is the shadow jacket. Very cool.
I am now a fan on facebook (Elise Hammond).
I also just voted for Pepsi’s Good Idea Refresh Project.

I definitely check out the tag before purchasing. I like to know where the garment came from, how it was made and what it is made of. I definitely prefer to buy organic. And after checking out Horny Toad – the sully jacket is definitely my favorite item.

Hi! I love the Sully Jackey in Scrub and Smoke. I like that it’s functional, fashionable, comfortable and most of all organic because I am for preserving the environment. :o)
Good Luck Everyone!
Have a beautiful Day!

I love the Devan dress! For me it’s about price. I love to shop internet sales and tend to get really good deals. I DO read the label as far as care instructions only.
shadow jacket is my fave – all the jackets, really!
It’s all about the price. And I love the shadow jacket.

I’d love a cool new jacket.
Right now, the price of a clothing item is probably what’s most important. I think we’re all looking for clothing that we need (more than want), that’s practical and can be worn for years, and is well made but not costly. I really like the Rose Marie dress!

I certainly check the tag before buying, since there are only certain items I am willing to dry clean. Style is the first ‘review’ item, but price is close–if I don’t think the style is worth the price, it goes back on the rack. I really like the Mesa jacket.

I’m always looking at prices as I don’t have much to spend. I always check tags to see what it’s made of. I usually try get products that don’t require dry cleaning. I love the Rose Marie dress in violet.
It’s all about price – who cares what it’s made of?
The chipotle skirt is super cute.
Love the llama tee shirt! To be honest- I usually go by style and price.

I love the Mesa Jacket…It is about style & price with me…I really love the Sully Jacket as well, it would be great to win.
I like the yolo shorts. The detailing on the shorts (pockets, waist band) and how the cut is flattering. When I shop for clothing, fit, material and price are equally important.
It’s about both style and price and, yes, I read a garment’s label before buying (to make sure it is machine washable). I like the Rosita jacket, too.
When shopping for clothes, the style, price, and materials all play a part in my decision-making. Although I prefer natural and organic materials, higher prices do sometimes prevent me from purchasing these products.
After browsing the Horny Toad website, I was in love. Such a tough decision…I don’t think I can pick just one favorite item! I can say that I really, really like the Micha Shirt.
Thanks!

It is about the price for sure. But for great quality and style it is worth paying a little more. The Saturday jacket is cool and it’s on sale!!

Oh, I love the Sully jacket!
I looked around and also really like the Saturday fleece jacket. It looks so warm, and the embellishments are a great touch to spice up what could be an otherwise plain item.
It’s definitely about style, because you won’t wear even the most natural garment if you hate how it makes you look or feel. But the materials are important too – it’s best to find something with both!
